Every septic tank collects solids that bacteria cannot break down. If they are not pumped out, they spill into the leaching bed and can ruin it — and replacing a bed costs many times more than a pump-out.
A licensed operator pumps the tank fully, takes a quick look at the baffles and liquid level while the lid is open, and leaves your yard the way it was.
What’s included
- Full pump-out of the septic tank (both chambers where present)
- Visual check of inlet and outlet baffles
- Liquid level check for signs of bed problems
- A record of the pump-out for your files
- Advice on when your next pump-out is due
When you need it
- It has been 3 years or more since the last pump-out
- You just bought the home and do not know its history
- Drains are slowing down
- Your township has asked for an inspection or pump-out
How it works
- Request a pump-out — Tell us your town, tank size (if you know it) and when it was last pumped.
- Pick a time — A local operator calls back with a price and the next available slot.
- Done in about an hour — Tank pumped, lids closed, lawn left clean.
What affects the price
Every property is different, so quotes are based on a few things:
- Tank size (in gallons or litres)
- How deep the lid is buried
- Distance from the truck to the tank
- Travel distance to your property
Request a quote and you’ll get a clear price before anything is booked.
Septic tank pumping — questions
Do I need to dig up the lid?
If you know where the lid is, uncovering it saves time and cost. If not, the operator can help locate it. A riser solves this for good.
Will pumping fix a slow drain?
If the tank is full, yes. If drains stay slow after pumping, the problem may be in the pipes or the bed — an inspection will tell you.
